DIVE SITE
Apo
Island is the best diving destination in the Visayas. Only four metres
from the beach, the dive shop is perfect for you to get the most out of
your diving holiday. It is part of town of Dauin, 25 km south of
Dumaguete City, the provincial capital. From Dumaguete’s Silliman Beach,
you can go directly to Apo on a two-hour pumpboat ride. Or you can go
down first to Dauin or the next town of Zamboanguita, and from there
take a 30-45 minute trip to the island via motorized outrigger. Apo
Island is one of the Worlds best known Community Organized Marine
Sanctuary's, and as such it has been well documented, by the Global
science community. The project was started in 1982. It is home to over
650 documented species of fish and estimated to have over 400 species of
corals.

This building is considered as the oldest wooden structure of Eastern Stick Style in the Philippines. The Ground Floor was built with cast iron columns and metal pan ceiling from the debris of a theater in New York that was being demolished. For many years the Ground Floor was known as the ASSEMBLY HALL where most of the social and cultural events of the campus were held including the regular mid-week service and Sunday worship service. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Ika’y iingatan, magpakailanman.
Sa eskwekahan, ika’y ihahatid,
Aayusin ang kwelyo, iiwanan ng halik.
Gagawan ng munting baon, upang hindi magutom,
Susunduin sa hapon, bubuhatin pauwi.
Siya’y nagalit, dahil nakipagtalo,
Pinatawag ng guro, natinik ang kanyang puso.
Humingi ng tawad, nanginginig ang tuhod.
Pinalo sa puwit, upang matuto.
Sinipon, inubo, nilagnat ng todo,
Siya’y natakot, sumasakit ang puso.
Dinala sa pagamutan, luha ay tumutulo,
Di mapakali, nagdasal ng lubos.
Ganon nila tayo kamahal,
Minsa’y magkakatampuhan, minsa’y naghaharutan.
Gagawin ang lahat, para may maibigay,
Yan si Inay, si Inay na mapagmahal.
Sila ang nagdala, sila’y nahirapan,
Mga gawaing bahay, kanilang sinasabay.
Kahit na nangangalay, kahit na nasasaktan,

Antonio Luna San Pedro y Novicio San Ignacio (29 October 1866 – 5 June 1899), an Ilocano born in Manila, was a Filipino general who fought in the Philippine–American War.
Regarded as one of the fiercest generals of his time, he succeeded Artemio Ricarte as Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Philippines. He sought to apply his background in military science to the fledgling army. A sharpshooter himself, he organized professional guerrilla soldiers later to be known as the "Luna Sharpshooters" and the "Black Guard". His three-tier defense, now known as the Luna Defense Line, gave the American troops a hard campaign in the provinces north of Manila. This defense line culminated in the creation of a military base in the Cordillera.
Despite his commitment to discipline the army and serve the Republic which attracted the admiration of people, his temper caused some to abhor him. His efforts were not without recognition during his time, for he was awarded the Philippine Republic Medal in 1899. He was also a member of the Malolos Congress. Besides his military studies, Luna also studied pharmacy, literature and chemistry.
Explanation:

Though his very hot-tempered, things will always be done as he command just for the betterment and the safety of the whole country. If you are interested in His life try to research and be acquainted with my favorite Filipino hero. Thank you.
